Joey Su


Joey believes that everyone should be able to enjoy the things they love doing. This is why he is dedicated to helping others find freedom in health. A Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, Joey is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from University of Waterloo. He has experience treating many types of patients, including athletes, seniors, pregnant women, cancer patients, stroke survivors, thoracic surgery patients, and patients with central nervous system disorders. Joey draws on his background in sports and rehabilitation in his massage practice, specializing in sports and work-related injuries and drawing from a variety of skill sets, including hydrotherapy, myofascial work, positional release, joint mobilization techniques, clinical assessment, remedial exercises and many more. Joey’s passion for helping others has been present throughout his entire career. Prior to becoming an RMT, he worked as research assistant for the Heart and Stroke Foundation at Sunnybrook Hospital, as a student Kinesiologist for WorkAble Inc. Rehabilitation Centre, and as Physiotherapist Support Personnel for ptHealth Solutions Seniors Division at Ritz Lutheran Villa and Mitchell Nursing Home. Indeed, it was through Joey’s experience working with many different skilled professionals, not to mention countless patients, that he developed a keen interest in massage therapy. In his spare time, Joey enjoys playing variety of sports and loves exploring the great Canadian outdoors.
